I love to give advice and help people. I never think any question is too stupid or small, even if it's been asked a million times. Honestly, it's better to ask than remain in the dark.

this summer i went to choir camp w/ some of my friends, and when we were hanging out one night i recognized one of the guys there, (he went to middle school w/ me) and hes going to my highschool next year, im gonna be a sophmore and hes gonna bea freshman so hes younger than me. at camp for like the first day and a half he like flirted w/ my friend from a different school and kinda gave it up once he realized he wouldnt see her again. so we were flirting and like hes really sweet and hes a very touchy feely person (not in a creepy way) so i got the feeling he liked me. but im not sure if he was just being friendly or if he was flirting. hes soo funny and soooo sweet i know were gonna be friends this year but i sorta like him. he turns 15 next month and im like 7 months older than him. is that weird? hes taller than me and im like really tall. ill see him b/c of choir and im one of the trainers for football(watergirl, yes i kno its lame but i get a pe credit for it) and he plays football so i know i will see him and we will hang out. do you think i should just drop it? i mean i havent seen him in like 3 weeks, but i miss him like crazy! and the last thing i want is to date a freshman and all these fish girls to think im desperate or something b/c im dating him, cuz thats just anoying. i dunno anymore im sooooo confused! someone PLEASE help!!

You're not that much older than he is, and I think it would be fine. First become friends and see how it goes from there. Honestly, even if people make fun of you for it, the teasing will only last for a little way, but the relationship could possibly last more. There is nothing wrong with dating a younger guy, guys date younger girls all the time and it's not considered them being desperate.

I say first be friends and see where it comes from there. And plus, he's gonna be a sophmore next year and you'll be a junior and then it wont even be a big deal anymore.
