You have to tell her that she's got to let go someday,now is the time,you won't be able to share your stuff with her if she tries to overprotect you,she had a boyfriend so why can't she let you date,lots of girls that are your age have a partner,that you're young,youth goes out very soon,you want to be able to enjoy it,and that if she really wants to see you happy then one of the things she could start with is letting you date.All parents know that their kids are going to have to make their own life, and their own decisions even if they don't tell you it's true.
