I am a teacher and I love working with teens. I am one of their favorite teachers because I do sit down and listen to them. I allow them to cry on my shoulder and have been noted as a second mother to many of my students. I enjoy answering questions from teens about their lives and when school is back in session I will have my students help me with the advice by asking them what they would do so hopefully that will further help any and all questions that do come my way.

about a week ago, my parents were fighting. it was so bad that me and my sister had to call my grandparents to tell them that we would like to sleepover. our parents tried to work it out but i don't know what will happen. also the next day when my dad saw us, he started crying and saying that he loves us. it was weird though to see my dad crying but i thought something was going on. yesterday i went blueberry picking with my parents and my sister. i wasn't really up to it but my mom said privately to me that we did this to be together and we don't have to be together and not have my father.
i am really scared now. please can you help me?

I agree with younggrandma. I also think that maybe you could talk to your mom one on one about the situation. I would ask her if its ok for you to have somewhere to go so that you don't have to hear it. It's hard listening to all the fighting and very scary. If you tell your mom or father this maybe they will try to do it elsewhere or get you a counselor. It does sound like they love each other and I am glad that you are able to go see your grandparents. The biggest suggestion I have for you is to pray really hard about the situation and be strong for whatever may come your way. I hope things work out for you and your family. It sounds like its a good one with the blueberries and all. I sure wish that was my life...
