Hey all. Well, I'm 14/f and I'm entering the 9th grade in August. I was thinking about playing volleyball in highschool, even though I don't have that much experience (playing in p.e. class), and they said that no experience is needed. I'm not sure if I should try-out because I don;t know if it would be best to be on the team in the 9th grade, or wait till next year, go to volleyball camp before the next season, and try-out in the 10th grade. I'm confused, and I don't know what to do. Could you guys help me. Also, what are they looking for, as of skills that'll get you on the team? Thanks.

i would try out... buy a volleyball and practice at home... if you dont make it then go to the camp and try out again... but if you dont try out you might regret it.. im sorry i dont know many of the skills... i played tennis and ran track instead of volleyball... but for sure try out
