so i've been going out w/ this guy for a couple weeks. i love being w/ him.. we always have so much fun. we talk on the phone a lot but it's usually about what we did that day or how much we like each other. i want to get to know him better w/o being like.. "whats your fave. food, etc.". how should i do this? i come from a past relationship where i knew the guy better than anyone so this is whati want.

Sounds great. :) Tell him you want to take him out to a movie or out to a restaurant. Then ask him what place he's interested in eating or what movie he wants to see. Notice his sense of humor, or love for action movies. Notice what he orders & how he treats people around him. Start conversations about what he likes to do & his plans after high school or in the future. I know it sounds corny, but these conversations can be brought up easier than you think. & eventually, you can learn more than about his personality & the type of person he is. And if you really want to know something harder to bring up, just say it. It may be a little random, but it shouldn't be weird to him. Most people like talking about themself. & if he asks, just tell him you're really interested in him & want to get to know him even more. :)
