Hey,
I'm gunna be a freshman next year, and I need some ideas about what to wear on the first day of school. I guess I wear"preppy" clothes like American Eagle and Abercrombie. But it really doesnt matter to me. But, I'm open for any kind of clothes, and any kind of suggestions. You dont have to give me brands or anything. General would work too. For example"long sleeve shirt and a skirt" or whatever. Thanks sooo much. xoxo

Avoid places like American Eagle, Hollister, & Abercrombie. Those places scream "NO INDIVIDUALITY!" Not to mention, it's not fun looking like everyone else. Try finding tops & bottoms places where other people won't have. A place such as Forever 21 is very affordable & has a wide variety of different things you can put together for whatever your style is. Thrift stores are another option as well. Most of their clothes aren't exactly the greatest, but if you have the patience & search through everything.. you'll come out with a couple-few tops. Maybe even more if you like the look of vintage. Back to your question - go for clothes that are still fun, but classy:

With the right top (preferably something a little long, but not too long) & some flats.. it'd look really cute.

As far as tops go - go for the type that aren't tight & are longer. I suggest going to forever21.com for some ideas. Those bottoms above might not be your style, but I know you can find whatever you're looking for at that store. Even if it's a denim skirt & a basic or logo tee.
