Q: alright, I heard somewhere, that if you sleep in a tampon, then you can get an infection or a disease or something.

1. myth or fact?
2. If a fact, what is the infection?
3. what is the infection caused by?
4. how serious is the infection?

1. fact
2. you could get TSS
3. TSS is caused by leaving the tampon in too long, usually you leave the tampon in for around 4-8 hours
4. you could die from it
