I just got my tongue pierced. I have these 2 white veins under my tongue. They lead to the tip of it. The one is like hurting and it feels like something is being pulled or something. Its very uncomfy. it feels like if i stretch it or something it will snap and wont be as tight? Its weird. I dunno if this is normal and its just a nerve or what?

Someone please explain? Is it normal? help?

I've had my tongue pierced before, so hopefully my advice is more helpful. Before the piercer pierces you're tongue, he/she should look out for veins. If they ever hit a vein, I believe you & the piercer would know right away. So as far as the veins go, you should be fine. The first few days are a hassle. It's going to swell, it's going to hurt, you won't be able to eat easily, it'll be hard to talk, & it'll feel like it's really tight. But after those days go by, you'll get used to it. Within the next week or two, it'll be so normal, you'll be able to move it around & you'll forget you have it. To help the swelling, suck on some popsicles & take Ibuprofen.
