And lately, i've discovered that one of the best answers for relationship problems is communication. talk. explain. share. it does wonders.
advice
i'm a sophmore and i'm probably transferring schools next year. but, this year, i have to go to the open house/take enterence exam, etc. but, the thing is, it's the rivalry school of the school i am in now..... i don' t think the people in the other school are as mean or will treat me bad because of it. but, this is my oppertunity to start over. and everyone will know me because they are both private schools. but, i'm just looking for tips to make new friends and fit in and stuff
any ideas?
i appreciate it soooo much!
xoxo
I transferred to a new school in my sophmore year and it might seem somewhat hard to make friends since usually everyone forms groups or cliques during their freshman year, but if you start talking to people and just be friendly, it's not that hard to make friends. Talk to people in class, lunch, etc even if it's a 'stupid' question like 'do you know what time it is?', or 'what is the hw?'. Also, look out for people who are in one or more of your classes. It's easier to make friends with them, since if you see them again you can be like "oh! you are in my 'math' class too arent you?" This way you can also find someone to check multiple homeworks with. Basically, just be yourself and just act as if it's your freshman year and you're making new friends and such. It's not that scary and can be very fun.
