My lips are really chapped and I'm using the jar of Carmex with the yellow lid. I've used it a lot and left it on, but everytime it wares off my lips start to peel and I'm tempted to bite them again and get them chapped. Should I leave the peeling skin alone? Any additional advice would be wonderful.

ive seen research saying that carmex is addictive and it only dries out your lips more. you might want to switch products...
