My friends don’t have that much self confidence. They always ask me how they can become more self acceptant, and to be honest I have no idea what to tell them. I have very little, maybe even no self confidence. I always feel like my friends are better people, and I know that’s wrong. I know I shouldn’t compare myself to others because they are not perfect (no one is), but I can’t help it. Last year everyone told me I was a little “look-hard.” Basically meaning I was ugly, and people always told me how I was not a nice person... blah blah blah. This year though, I have people telling me how “gorgeous and beautiful” I am, and how I have such an amazing personality. How can that change in over a year, I just can’t bring myself to believe what the others are saying. How can I have more self confidence and help my friends have more also? I want to be able to help my friends, but at the same time, I need to help myself too. ♥

It is sometimes hard to accept the skin your in, but you have to believe what you hear if you hear it from more then one person! If you hear from more then one person that you are beautiful, then chances are.. your beautiful!You probably changed over a year, many people can change in that amount of time! Getting older certainly will change the way you act, and the way you look. So if people are telling you your beautiful, and have an amazing personality, you better believe it! Because after a year of being put down, you probably decided that you needed to change.. and without knowing it.. DID!

As for your friends, explain to them that you are going through the same thing! You all can help eachother, after all thats what friends are for! Developing self acceptance is hard for anybody, they need a boost! You can be the one to give them that boost! :) hope this helps
