My maltese (about 2 and a half years old) has been acting a bit strange lately: not eating as much or going 'doing his business'. I also noticed that his nose has changed color, from black to a brownish pink. Is that normal? Should I take it to the vet or will it be ok after some time? Any help is appreciated, thanks. (link)

im not an expert on dogs, but i do have one. the pinkish nose doesnt have anything to do with his behavior, like my dog has done, your dog is probably digging holes or sticking his nose in the dirt. as far as behavior, your dog could possibly have lime disease, im not possitive, but its possible. my dog had lime disease and he didnt do much but lie around the house. just to be safe i would have him checked out at the vet. good luck =]
