Hey im trying to write my own songs and i just cant seem to get the "flow" going. And i dont know what to write songs about. I cant get a rhythm of the song either. Or beat even. I know it sounds pathetic but i have no idea where to start! Please help!! I'll rate 5's!!! (link)

good for you. i also love music and i know what it islike trying to write but just cant think of anything. the best place to start is to write about things that are important to you. and this can also help with making you feel better. next time a friend gets mad at you or something goes wrong dont worry about it, just write it down. pour your heart and soul into everything you write. a dictionary can aslo help. i have a hard time spelling but it can help you use diffrent words like in stead of using the word pain over and over again you can try to use other words like hurt, anguish (i told you i cant spell. this will help with making your song easy to listen to and poetic. try to find mediphors for things as well. if that doesnt work for you, you can try writing poetry. this is easier and you can take your poems and turn them into lyrics later. cant get that tune or beat? dont worry you can try experementing with instraments or copy some from a band of song you like and change it up. if nothing eles works, dont worry something will hit you, just like when something happens to you and a song about that pops into your head. the most important thing is to keep cool. writing songs isnt for everyone and can be very hard. if nothing comes to you, take a break and try again later. life is hard so im sure something will come to you. good luck!
