Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any numbing stuff you could buy at any store. I need it for my mouth. Please Help!!! I'm in a lot of pain!

Just a few days ago, I had a huge cold sore on my gum that formed into a gash. It hurt so bad. I used Orajel swabs. It completely numbs it - not to the point of drooling everywhere but to the point of great relief. It's fast working and it doesn't taste bad either! Within two swabs - my mouth was back to normal completely! You can buy Orajel at any drug store like CVS, RiteAid etc. You probably can even get it at Giant, Shoppers, Safeway or Kroger.
