I have been with my girlfriend for 8 months, I honestly do love her. Whenever I tell her I love you she says I know like it's not a big deal or something, now whenver I tell her I love you she says I think you love me for the wrong reason, it hurts me when she says things like that, not once has she told me she loves me back. Am I just wasting my time? What should i do to respond to her when she tells me I love her for the wrong reason?

no you are not just wasting your time...most girls dont like to tell boys they love them back... so its a 'girl" thing. most times they do love you back, but they just dont want to get caught up with love or had some bad experience with love before. maybe you should talk to her about it to see what she says..maybe she'll open up to you.. you can respond by saying "well what do you think are the wrong reasons?" or you can say "well i thinik i love you for the right ones, what do you think?" or you can say " no, i love you for exactly the right ones..i know you love me too, but u just wont admit it" and that way it'll be like killing two birds with one stone
