I really want to work on trimming down my legs (mostly my thighs). What are some work outs that will help me with that?

ok well to trim them down i would use a bench press, this will create muscles in your legs but dont be alarmed if this gains weight- muscle weighs more than fat- and always make sure you are eating a good diet!
