Hey all. I was just wondering if you could inform me about which park is better between the theme parks and between the water parks, in Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I am a thrill-seeker, meaning I like to go on great adventures and ride really scary roller-coasters, and I also like fun water rides and swimming (especially in wave pools!). Thank-you for your time.
Well, considering that I've been there over literally seven times, I should know this stuff.
Let's see..all of the parks are good. If you like a park with a ton of different kinds of rides, Magic Kingdom would be the best. Magic Kingdom has different parts to it. There's the country/western side, the space side, the scary side, ect. There are three roller coasters here. Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Thunder Railroad Mountain.
Epcot--Doesn't really have as many rides as Magic Kingdom, but it has a little bit of each country that you can walk to. Like there are separate parts of countries where people that are actually from the countries work there. They all sell the food that their country makes. For example Mexico has a resturant in a pyramid or something. The food is really good in about every country. The rides there are basically rides considering the "future". I suggest the best "fast" ride is Test Track. When you go to any park to ride the rides, you might want to consider using Fast Passes. It makes it so that when there is a really large line, you can come back later and it shows the time that you can come back and ride the ride to get on quicker. The large golf ball talks about communications. Its a good ride if its extremely hot outside(which isnt a doubt) and you want to cool down. There usually isnt really a line. The line moves quick.
Blizzard Beach--A water park obviously. Not much to say but its a really cool water park. There are a ton of rides. There are not fast passes here=( which is too bad. There are always long lines. Unless the ride isnt really popular. Like almost every water park, theres a thing where you can ride around in a tube around the park and get off at any stop.
MGM-MGM is more of like a movie type of place. Like there are rides based on movies. For example--The Great Movie Ride, Tower of Terror (aka the Twilight Zone), ect. They have great restarants. The best Rollar coaster is The Rockin' Roller Coaster which is based on Aerosmith. Its really fast. There is a really nice candy store near by it also with terrific fudge. Haha, I know, Im starting to sound like all I do there is eat! Haha but they all have great food. Anyway, back to MGM. There is a small diner where you can eat in cars, I profer to make reservations. Trust me, it gets BUSY. The Brown Derby has really good food also.
Animal Kingdom--I havent really been to Animal Kingdom much. Its obvious that its about animals. There are a couple of rides here in the dinosaur section of the park.
Any more questions, send them to my inbox. Also, I would suggest to buy the book at the Disney store in any mall. It tells you about all of the rides, the new rides, the resturants, ect.
Hope I Helped!
(Rating: 5) Thanks a ton! You really explained the pros and cons about the theme parks and the water park, which really help a lot. Thanks again.
