This might sound a little conceited but I'm really not.


I've always gotten complements from guys, girls, family, and friends about my looks and them telling me that I'm pretty/hot/gorgeous/cute/etc.


And well, it seems like most guys just want to go out with me because of my looks. I'm going on a date with this guy I like this Friday and today I was talking to him when he said "I'm really excited about this weekend you're so hot and I finally have a chance with you"


That just kind of got me upset because what if my past dates/boyfriends only dated me because of looks?


Is it weird that sometimes I wish that I didn't look the way I do?

Alright, I know how you feel. First of all, you should remember that you are lucky to be attractive, and you are lucky that you can pick out a guy at will.

I learned from some of my guy friends that they are first attracted by looks (I know that sounds a littttllee trashy but hey, they're guys). Then when they really meet the girl, they are glad that they did and they think she's really cool and down to earth.

Outside features could have been a factor to why guys have dated you but they wouldn't have truely enjoyed going out with you if they didn't know your some of your personality. But it really depends on what kind of guy it is.

If you want to know if he's only dating you for looks, have a friend casually bring it up and ask him why he likes you. If he only says you're hot, chances are he's not in for a deep relationship. Make sure he mentions a few things about the way you act or laugh, not just your hair or nails.
