This might sound a little conceited but I'm really not.


I've always gotten complements from guys, girls, family, and friends about my looks and them telling me that I'm pretty/hot/gorgeous/cute/etc.


And well, it seems like most guys just want to go out with me because of my looks. I'm going on a date with this guy I like this Friday and today I was talking to him when he said "I'm really excited about this weekend you're so hot and I finally have a chance with you"


That just kind of got me upset because what if my past dates/boyfriends only dated me because of looks?


Is it weird that sometimes I wish that I didn't look the way I do?

Well I know your not conceited and i know this is hard for you, and some probably did date you for your looks, but it doesnt mean that EVERYONE did it because of that. Beauty gets the attention, and personality gets the heart. If you are a great person and had gotten along well with some of the guys than they could have very much liked you for you. Sometime when your alone with your current boyfriend, look at him, be serious, and tell him how you feel. Tell him that you like him for more than how he looks and that you hope he likes you for more than your looks, ask him seriously and ask him what he likes about you. Other than being hot or whatever. Maybe he should know that you would rather be beautiful than hott and that at the end of your conversation you make sure he knows how much you care about your relationship and that you just wanna make it last.
