i am goin to be in a new school this year and i wanna get along w/ everyone and have lotsa friends. but there are alot a bullies in school and i don't wanna pick a fight ever.is there any way i cud get along w/ anybody--even bullies??? i wud appreciate help...tnx (link)

I guess the only advice I can give is: Be nice to everyone, but don't let anyone push you around. Make sure people know that you aren't going to just sit there and listen to them make fun of you and such. Say something back, just don't be too harsh unless it's something you have to do. Most times, as long as you are nice to people, they won't make fun of you or be mean to you. Just make sure you choose the right friends .. the friends that will stick up for you in case those kind've things happen. Lastly, be outgoing, try to talk to everyone .. just strike up a conversation. Chances are .. the most outgoing people in the class are going to strike up conversations with you and ask you where you're from and why you moved .. just keep the conversation moving and talk to them the next day.
