Well, guys are weird, so let me explain.
All guys say they look for different things in a girl, but mostly it has to do with physical attractiveness. Personality matters too, but a lot of guys out there, especially teenagers, will overlook a dumb personality if the person is "hot." If you're lucky, though, the guy won't be a total dick.
Guys show girls they like them in different ways. Some of the dumber, jockier, more alpha-male types will show it by teasing and hitting. Shyer boys will get nervous around you and say things that, occasionally, are downright pathetic. Some boys will just say it or be nicer to you than most girls. Whatever the case, it'd probably be one of these things.
