I am possibly thinking about going on an airplane in the near future and would like your advice/opinions about Airplanes. I would like to know who has been on one, How do you like flying, What do you love about Flying, what do you hate about flying and what advice you would give to me if I were to fly. Feel free to answer my question and really good advice in great detail will get a 5.
I love flying!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it!!! I can never wait for my next time to go on a plane, which is going to be in June. (But anyways... That's just me...)
What I love about flying is the way you can get places fast. I mean, before to get from New York to London people had to take ships and that took a few days. But now you can take a plane and get their in a few hours. I love taking off as well. I love the feeling of just being on the runway, then going up, up, up and continuing!
I hate the food... Plane food, in my opinion, sucks. My sister told me that Air Canada has terrible food, and that is saying something because she normally ADORES plane food. I don't really like landings, because I get a weird feeling in my stomach. (like the one when you are on a roller coaster and there is a drop)
My advice to you is to
1. Get a window seat.. Great view..
2.If not possible, get an aisle seat because being stuck in the middle is the worst.
3. Bring something to entertain you (magazine, dvds, laptop, music..etc.)
4. Be nice to the flight attendants becasue remember your life is sort of in their hands, so you really don't wanna act stupid.
5. If you are scared, don't voice the way you feel with children around. It just causes a big problem.
6. Buy stuff at the airports. It's totally fun!!
7. If you go on Jet Blue, get the chips. I heard they are really good.
8. Get to the airport early!
9. Be prepared to go through serious security. In some airports, you have to take off your shoes.
10. Have a blast!!
