Okay so I am 14/f and will be graduating from 8th grade this year. The only thing is i do not want to go to my graduation because i dont want to have to walk infront of all the people, this is because I have Cerebral Palsy. It is a disorder that cause tight hamstings and makes me walk ver different from others. I am very self consious of this. I want to be a part of graduation but walking on stage and down an aisile(sp?) really acres me. I know that other should not judge me but. I just really dont know what to do any advice would help.I also have a big problem with stage fright and public things such as this ..if that means anything. (link)

It's your graduation!!! Be proud!! Stand strong!!
You should be happy & excited rather than worrying about this.
If you are still not comfortable with the idea, try talking it out with your parents and teacher. Maybe you can arrange for one or both of your parents to walk with you. They will be there for you and you will definitely be more confident.
Try it.... Good luck & CONGRATULATIONS!!!
