I am a Christian, and I love giving advice, so you can be anonymous or not, I would just love to hear from you! My friends tell me that I am a great person to come to for advice. I seem to know just what to say. I don't know. =) I love listening to people and problems. I just don't like being in the middle of them; I do choose sides if I absolutely have to. I want to be a Social worker or a counseling Psychologist someday. I am a senior in high school, and I start college in August of '06. I'm in band, and choir. I play French horn and sing alto. I have been through a lot with friends/family and even though I haven't, I feel like I've seen it all, so I hope I can help!

OK so there is this guy and he's really sweet and nice and funny and cute. But, he's like too mice and too funny. Well, the other night we were texting and he was like you are the only girl for me and you are so perfect for me. He was like I miss you sooo much and then he wrote LYL (love ya lots). Yes I like him, but we aren't even going out! And there is this dance at his school and he has to bring a date and he wants to bring me! That's just so not my style. I am more of those crazy, wild, hyper, love to havea good time girls. How can I make him see that? How can I make him see that it freaks me out when he says that? And how can I get out of going to that dance?? Thanks in advanced! (link)

If dances aren't really your thing, just tell him that. Keep in mind that if he's a fun guy and one of your friends, you could have a good time dancing. It would freak me out too what he's saying to you, even if I did like him. The only way it wouldn't is if I was head over heels for this boy. Just tell him (if you like him as more than a friend) "I like you too, but I'm not in love w/ you. At least not right now. I hope you understand that." If you don't have romantic feelings towards him, just say "You're like a brother to me, but I hope you know I'm not "in love" w/ you." If you really don't want to go to that dance, tell him that you just don't really want to go because you just need a weekend to hang out w/ family or girlfriends or something. Good luck!
