my 8th grade graduation is coming up soon, and i'm really worried about it. I'm really athletic and tomboy-ish. (I DON'T wear boys clothes or anything, but i don't wear dresses or skirts.)
at graduation, we're supposed to be really formal and stuff. it's like prom, but maybe not so glamourous, you know?
my question is that i need help with clothes, hair, etc. i plan to wear a dress (and surprise everyone. where could i get a really pretty dress for a decent price? and hair/make-up tips would be good, too. (i don't know anything about make-up at all, HELP!) (link)

Wait til' after prom season to buy your dress if you can. Then you can get an awesome dress on sale.
As for shoes, I personally love the store Traffic. For comfortable but pretty shoes, look for flats (preferably decorated. I have some with snakes on them) with the grecian style laces. You can tie them around your ankles and/or legs in almost infinite ways.
Dillards has good dresses, I bought my prom dress there. Macys has a lot of nice dresses on sale if you go to the website. Also, many lingerie stores also sell dresses.
