Okay, my knee is terribly, terribly swollen. =( There aren't any (bone) structual problems, since I can walk. This just happened within the past 24 hours, so I will be watching it closely over the next few days.
What I need to know is:
1) Bathtime: hot water or cold water?
2) If showering it not the purpose, should I even bother soaking it? Would soaking it even be of any help?
3) Should I ice it, or is that a waste of time?
4) Keep it elevated, right? If so, how high does it must be? (link)

OK i recently tore a ligament in my knee and it was wicked swollen. However, i could still walk w/o putting much weight on the knee, so it's possible you did something more severe to it. Water temp doesnt make any difference. Yu wanna ice your knee for 20 minutes, take it off for 20 minutes, and then put it back on. Try this 3-4 times at night. Yu also wanna lay down, on your couch or something, and have yur leg elevated higher than your heart, so way above chest level. The higher yu can go w/o putting strain on the knee, the better. Please feel free to ask me any questions, ive learned so much about it haha. hope everything goes well

Thank youuu!! That was beyond helpful! The swelling was due to a multi mile walk, and thanks to your wonderful dedicated time and advice.. the swelling is now gone, and everything is seemingly fine. (: Thanks so much! You were of big assistance!!
