when i say that my ex has been on my mind a lot lately. i dont mean, when im sexually with my bf or anything. but sometimes when im alone or wiht my friends i think about him. my family moved next door to him a few days ago. we broke up about 5 months ago. i was really hurt. i know i loved him and still do. but i love my bf now. my new bf was my first. and he is so sweet. he is perfect. but how can i stop thinking about my ex. i dont feel like im being loyal to my bf. plez help (link)

well ive been in your situaition once before. if you think about it how do you know that your bf dones not have one of his ex's on his mind most of the time...reality is that yoy dont know what's going on in his head and he doesnt know what going on in yours...what i did was talk to my friends about it and they told me that i couldnt help it all...i mean even now i still think about my ex because i still do really love him alot and i really care for him and there's nothing that you can do about it to get him off your mind..not unless you train yourself to stop and overtime eventually he''ll be on your mind less...if you feel good enough about it that you can tell your current bf without him getting mad at you then do so but chances are that he's going to get mad and a little jealous...you can aslo talk to your ex (if you two still talk) i did that and he ended up feeling the same way and i had to try my best to not let all of that interfere with my current relationship because it wasnt fair to my boyfriend... do you get all of this or no?

wow thanks a lot. i talked to my bf about it. i asked him if he ever thinks about his ex's and what about that he thinks about. adn he said yes. but he never loved them. so he knows that i think about my ex. because he knows i loved him. and he knows that it is normal. adn was there for me. as long as i dont do anything with him or any other guy. your advice helped a lot. thanks again.
