i have a boyfriend who i really like but i never get to see him because he lives too far away so i only get to talk to him on the phone. then theres this boy at school who i think is just absolutely adorable. ive only talked to him a couple of times and i have no idea if he likes me too. should i go out on a limb and dump my boyfriend? No. Don't dump your boyfriend... yet. First of all, you like your boyfriend a lot. If you break up with him and nothing happens with the other guy you'll probably get sad, even though your boyfriend lives far anyway. You'll rgert it because you ended up with nothing. Also, you have to figure out if you like this guy more than your boyfriend? And if this guy (considering he liked you back) would be worth breaking up with your boyfriend? Take all facts in consideration, like the fact that you don't see your boyfriend often. Personally if I were you and this cute nice cool funny guy at school liked me and asked me out I'd break up with my boyfriend then go out with him. It may sound "mean" but don't let anybody judge you. First of all, you have to think about yourself. The facts are that you don't see your boyfriend that much, AND you're young, it's high school, nothing is ever too seriou.s So just have fun. But seriously, before you do anything make sure it's what you want. Screw convenience and looks and that stuff, because if it's not really what uou want you're going to regret it. Trust me, regrets SUCK. Also, if you are going to go for that guy make sure he likes you back first. Don't tell him you have a boyfriend though (he may get the wrong idea), he doesn't have to know. I'm not telling you to CHEAT on your boyfriend either, just... tell him you'll think about it an break up with your boyfriend then go out with the guy. Or just say you'll go out with him and then break up with your boyfriend.
