I am a Christian, and I love giving advice, so you can be anonymous or not, I would just love to hear from you! My friends tell me that I am a great person to come to for advice. I seem to know just what to say. I don't know. =) I love listening to people and problems. I just don't like being in the middle of them; I do choose sides if I absolutely have to. I want to be a Social worker or a counseling Psychologist someday. I am a senior in high school, and I start college in August of '06. I'm in band, and choir. I play French horn and sing alto. I have been through a lot with friends/family and even though I haven't, I feel like I've seen it all, so I hope I can help!

This question was extremely long, explaining the whole situation, I decided that you guys don't need all of the details. A friend of mine is currently pregnant, the baby is due the second week of May. Her baby shower will be May 2nd and I need some ideas of what to get. She already has just about everything you could buy for a baby. It's going to be a girl, and I want something that won't cost too much over $20 because she isn't my best friend in the world, but she is a good person. They already have bottles, toys, diapers, blankets, and the works. What are some things that a baby girl can never have too much of, just in case I get something that somebody else (or the parents) have already bought?
I'm 15/f, so is she, but she'll be 16. The baby's dad is 19, still in the picture, and the mom and dad are getting married once my friend turns 16 in July. Please no lectures on that, she's already talked to one of the parenting teachers here, her mom, and guidance and all sorts of people. I just need some ideas for a baby shower gift. Thanks in advance. (link)

Do you know what the baby's name will be? Maybe you can buy the mom stuff to make a scrapbook? Or maybe you can buy something for the baby and have it embroidered. Think about how old the baby will be during certain holidays, or seasons, and buy baby clothes that might fit her around that time that YOU especially pick out for her. Maybe you can go to build-a-bear! Get something for the mom, not just the baby. I don't know what she'll like but you know what will make her feel special. If you don't think these are good ideas, buy her a gift card for somewhere like wal-mart or something, she what she has registered anywhere, that way she can get what she does need. Good luck and I hope I helped!

That's good advice! I like the build-a-bear idea. Yeah, the babies name will be Kayleigh (kaylee) Alexis... I love the way she's spelling it, it's sooo unique! haha. Thanks again.
