im not sure what to put this under as a category but heres how the story goes:

im 15/f. ive been going to the same school since i was seven. its an all girls school, and most of my guy friends go to all guy schools. well, anyways, the thing is that after school i do ballet... but it is WAY to early. it starts at like four thirty and thats just to early for me. i have things to take care of after school!

well, anyways, the all guy schools have chearleaders, but all the chearleaders go to this other all girls school. thers only two girls schools and two guy schools where i live =), but the reason that they dont allow the girls from my school to try out for chearleading for those schools is because we dont have a chearleading team...... and ive always wanted to become a chearleader!!!! and its also because i get to meet more guys when i get out of school (aka prison) instead of doing ballet, where its another group of all girls! so, i have moved the ballet classes to the adult classes only because it was a better scheduale for me......

but..... the reason we dont have a chearleading team is because the headmistress of our school doesn't believe in it or something because she thinks that girls are showing their underwear... i dont know its really really stupid. but, thats what she says. maybe if i wrote her a letter or something, she would consider it, i mean we are like the only school in this city that does not have a chearleading team, and some people, like me, really, really want to do it!!!! what could i write to her to make her change her mind.... and you know, not sound disrespectful to her or anything, u noe, not make her mad. heehee.... thank you very much for reading this. thanking u in advance for your help!

I know how you're feeling because I went to an all girls high school for one year and the headmistress was really uptight, too. You can write her a letter but I doubt it will do any good. I'm guessing that your school is religious and that your headmistress' decision to exclude cheerleading is based on religion and morals so my guess is, unless she resigns, you're not gonna get to be a cheerleader for your school. BUT if you really are determined, you could explain the whole situation to the coach of another school and maybe she'll hear your cry and come to your rescue by letting you join her squad!
