My mom is one of the most stubborn unreasonable people I know, and it's easy to see that we don't get along. I played tennis last semster and I want to play badminton this semster, even though my PE credit was already fulfilled last year. However, my mom won't let me play badminton, because she thinks one sport a year is good enough and she thinks my grades will drop if I do play (link)
Hi there! Try making a deal with her, if you can play both tennis and badminton and keep up your grades for a month you get to play it as long as you like.... If she sees your grades dropping you will stop playing badmindton and do some chore that your mother hates for a few months.... or maybe make a deal with her and ask her if you bring your grades up to 5 A's and 2 B's if you can then play badminton.... tell her your teachers always encourage the kids to do more than one sport because after school activies count for when you want to get into college or university...

Goodluck!! really hope your mom lets you play badminton! :o)
