I am a 14 year old female who is recently living with my father by force. My father took me from my mother about 5 months ago because he read my little cousins diary that said i was doing drugs with my mother which is not true. my mother is desperatly trying to get me back but she has little money. I feel that I am becoming more and more of a danger to myself everyday here. there is no physical abuse but there is neglect. I am running away before the end of feburary and I need a SAFE place to go so that I am not on the streets. I am having problems finding a place to go many shelters will only hold me for 24 hours but i need more time than that. So I am asking advice on where i should go as a 14 year old female who is possibly suicidal. I have no transportation so i am also asking for advice on that. (link)

gabriel, and mike hit it on the nose, stay put, and do some research, i agree more than likely your old enough to have a say in where you want to live. when you do get back with your mom, better shape up, cuz strangely enough everyone seems to get the blame for kids mistakes but the kids themselves.also if you ever do find yourself in a runaway situation,or if your feeling suicidal, you can call covenant house's
