My really close friend Amanda is obsessing over this hot kid at school. Every conversation is spent talking about that he looked at her! I mean he just looked at ya! She claims she "loves" him. She doesn't even know what that means! She has talked to the guy ONCE and all it was was him asking her what period an assembly was!! She says that was the best moment of her life! In her profile she writes all this love crap...its pathetic. How can I tell her she should stop claiming she's in "love" and focuz on whats really important?? (link)

I have been in the same situation before, and it was anoying. my friend would stay up all night talking about this guy she had been in love with for 5 years. i said it was anoying, and so did her friends, and i always thought it was, until I fell in love. then all my friends though i was crazy. and my friends who had already been in love, well we talked about both of them. one of my friends thought i was crazy, but a few months later, SHE fell in love. you never understand how it feels to be in love until you are. your friend is in love. comfort her, and encourage her to talk to him. just be careful. the end of my first secret love, well lets just say it wasnt the happiest ending. you will know how it feels soon enough.

She's not in love though...but i get what your saying cuz i've been in love too. Its just that she doesn't even know him so how can you call that love??
