My ex-boyfriend just got locked up in juvi. We only broke up a week ago and we dated on and off for about a year and a half. We both still have feelings for one another. Anyways, his grandma and grandpa (whom he was staying with) called me last night and told me the whole story. His grandpa was on the other phone (different #) with Justin. His grandpa was saying Justin said he loved me and he wanted my address and stuff (to write, no phone calls or visits allowed.) The deal is, his grandparents were really sweet and sincere to me the whole time, though they were pretty broken up and crying, as was I. The thing is, since me and Justin were kind of on the verge of getting back together (that has nothing to do with what I'm about to say...just some info) his grandparents get to go see him tonight at 7. It's a half an hour away from town and its almost 4 now. Should I give them a call to check up and see how things are going, or would that seem like a pest? I don't think they would mind in the least, I just wanted to make sure it was an appropriate gesture and what I should say.
P.S. I'm pretty sure they would call me after they got back but I didn't know if I should call just in case.

it sounds like theyll call, but just in case, they clearly know how you to feel about each other and i dont think theyll consider you a pest to call and ask how things went. if your real worried about annoying them, wait untill tommorow and call early enough to not be disturbing anything (meals and what not) and just say im sorry to bother you but i was just wondering how things went last night, and if you could tell me how justins doing. if they dont call tonight they may have come home an gone straight to bed, kinda stressful i imagine, plus they might get home late for ...umm. well... older folks. if you do call tonight you can call before they go and ask them to call you back when its convienent and let you know how hes doing.
