Q: I think I have a yeast infection. Its itchy down there a lot. My discharge is a normal color though. Do I need to get this checked out by a doctor? And how do I tell my mom? I'm 13. Do I just buy something like Monistat? And what if I use medication and I don't have a yeast infection?

You should tell your mother for all reason and the symptoms to a yeast infection are.Itching,burning,irritation,painful urination,odorless vaginal discharge(may be thick whitish-gray and cottage-cheese-like or maybe watery in consistency)
