What is a Godmother/Godfather?
Example: When your friend has a baby and wants you to be the Godmother.

When a person is chosen as a Godparent (godmother/godfather) it means that if anything were to happen to the parents of the baby, you would be the one to take care of them. If they were to, sadly, die then you would become the 'parent' or gaurdian if you want to get technically of the baby and you would basically be considered the mom or dad
