Hey babe. Alright well I am not African American but my step-mom is. Do you press your hair? Because it will stop it from breaking. Also, There are some nice hair striaghteners that doesnt damage or dry your hair out at all. Its 100 % ceramic. Its a bit pricy but sometimes you can catch them on sale. The brand name is "Hot Tools" and one of the straighteners are specifically for African American Hair. PLEASE give me feedback and rate me. Thank you.
