I think i may have OCD. (obsessive compulsive disorder). I seem to have like scary and gross thoughts and images in my head that I cant make go away and i get like obsessed over it and I cant concentrate. Another thing is I wont eat food thats over 4 days old even if it doesnt get old for another month. No madder what. Another thing is everything has to be clean. As in washed. Like my bes sheats. If they're not I cant sleep in them. Like ill obeses and I cant even sleep, or I wont sleep at all. There are so many things that I obsess over, and I get stressed over. Its so weird. I can name other things but does this seem like OCD to you? (link)
i have ocd and i am slowly working on getting rid of it. I have had it for 3 years and It got worse but now its getting better. now my councilor told me there are 4 steps you use each time a promlem i.e unwanted thoughts or obsessions come in your way.
1) Do i really need to waist my time with that stupid little thing in my head telling me that things need to be clean?
2)Oh for goodness sake, im not going to die and besides, its not me that is obsessing, its ocd
3) walk away and carry on with what you want to do. i.e- go and speak 2 someone for about 3 minutes. and then see if your erge has gone down to clean.
4) if it hasnt, force yourself to not let it make you wash or anything.

also... with the thoughts, pretend your mind is a window,, this sounds strange but it makes sence, a cloud DRIFTS past the window, just like a thought drifts into your mind. The window doesnt get anxious and scared that the cloud is there. so it ignores the cloud, and the cloud drifts away. so when you get an unwanted thought, let it come through your mind, and let it drift away. dont think anything of it. nomatter what it says. its not you who is thinking those thoughts, its not your personality its the ocd's
