I am a Christian, and I love giving advice, so you can be anonymous or not, I would just love to hear from you! My friends tell me that I am a great person to come to for advice. I seem to know just what to say. I don't know. =) I love listening to people and problems. I just don't like being in the middle of them; I do choose sides if I absolutely have to. I want to be a Social worker or a counseling Psychologist someday. I am a senior in high school, and I start college in August of '06. I'm in band, and choir. I play French horn and sing alto. I have been through a lot with friends/family and even though I haven't, I feel like I've seen it all, so I hope I can help!

I have a friend, and whenever I go online, she almost always Instant Messages me. I was cool with it for a while, but no it's just irritating. I've put an away message up, but I always eventually come back. What can I do (It has to be nice)? (link)

I say be completely honest w/ her. That's what I would want. I am generally the one to start convos w/ ppl and I don't know if I get annoying. So, if it were me, I'd say tell her cause she may not know it bothers you. I'd want to know the truth anyway. Just don't lie to her about it. That wouldn't be pretty, especially if she is your friend. Then once she starts backing down, show her that you still want to talk and don't completely avoid her by actually starting a conversation eventually and not just saying that you will and never do. And I don't mean in a few months eventually. Good luck and I hope I helped!
