Q: Okay, I'm remodeling my room and I kinda want a beach theme... but i'm not entirely sure what to do... either that or sumthing like "night on the town" like a new york theme or sumthing... but if i did that i want the colors to be dark... but if i did the beach theme i would want them to be bright and like just totally out there... does anyone have any suggestions???

A beach theme would be VERY cute!
Wall Color: A soft blue would be very nice! Don't chose colors that you will easily get sick of (this goes for all themes). I know you want bright colors, but belive me, save the bright colors for your accesories NOT your walls!!
Bed: You might want to get a new bed spread that is decorated with tropical flowers- pbteen.com has some very cute stuff. Buy some bright, fun pillows. I'm sure you could find cute stuff anywhere you look, so they shouldn't have to be expensive.
Floor: If you're willing to spend the money buy a bright orange or yellow rug for your floor! Rugs can be expenisve depending on where you're shopping, so you may not want one.
Accessories: These don't need to be expensive! Go to a craft store and buy fake flowers. They come in strands or stems. You can weave them into your heaedboard or drape a strand over a mirror (thats what i did in my room!). Flowers can go anywhere!! I've also seen signs on pbteen.com that say things such as "bikini beach 1 mile". Those would be cute. I've also seen beautiful framed pictures of beaches in picture stores that you could hang up!
