i'm doing a project for spanish class and just need to know:
does the euro sign come before or after the amount?
would you write an amount like this 5.00 or 5,00?
i've seen both so i got confused.

The Euro sign goes before the amount, and you would use 5,00 instead of 5.00. In America we use 5.00, in Europe, they use 5,00.
