Can you get accepted to a college, and wait a year before youa ctually go?
is it a good idea to do that? i have heard it is a good idea, and it isnt, but i would like to know what your opinions are. thank you

A lot of colleges all you to wait a year before attending. After you get accepted, ask your college about deferring enrollment for a year. You will probably have to give a reason -- wanting to work is a good reason, for example. A college will NOT defer admission so you can enroll somewhere else for a year, though.

As for whether it's a good idea, that depends I think on what you're planning on doing during your time off. Only you can make that decision.
