Hey was up my name is Lissa and i am 14 years old. And i need some help, well my parents are getting a divorce and ever sense they were going to get one i have been like the second mom and dad for my brotha and sista. I always have to babysitt and whenever i want to go out with my friends i have to make sure my brotha and sista have a place to go! I mean come on my parents arn't even thinking about me all they do is think about themselves. And when i do go out with my friends its like they don't trust me they always call me and it's like i babysitt all the time and you trust me 4 that but you can't trust me with my friends!!! Im so tired of this what do i do to help this situation get any better??

Dear Lissa Honey,

First of all, being the eldest, kind of puts you in the place of hleping your parents out by taking care of your younger siblings. It sucks but that is how it goes. As for them not trusting you when you go out with friends, that I can't be certain as to why they are doing that (as in calling you while out all the time) but you do need to make them aware that you need some time away as well. What kind of ground rules are in place for you when you go out? Maybe if none, it'd be a good idea to work some kind of ground rules with them so they can let go a bit without having to worry unless you don't stick with the rules.
