okay my boyfriend and i have different veiws of the millitary. i hate the millitary and he wants to join it. we made a deal not to talk about it but he always brings it up and then we get in a fight what shoud i do? (link)

If he feels so strongly in favor of it that he truly wants to join, then it's not something that he's going to feel differently about in the near future. It sounds like it's ingrained in him and it's part of who he is. If you're that strongly against it then that is ingrained in you and that's just who you are.
If you are dating with the long-term goal of finding a mate, then the two of you probably shouldn't be together. If you guys got married one day and he joined the military, you would be resentful and he would be upset that you weren't supportive. This would lead to major problems in your relationship. I think there is someone out there who is a better match for you.
