I'm a cool chico, and I try to help others to love themselves. It's a rough world out there, but grawr, I can handle it.

Since this comes up so often, let's make this very clear: You can not pick and choose where you want to lose fat. Exercising your abs will make your abs strong - but losing tummy fat is dependent on your body fat percentage and genetics.

There's really no such thing as target exercising. No specific exercises will magically cause fat to disappear. Your body is built to distribute fat in a certain way.

That said, exercise works muscles. More muscle, the more energy you'll burn by just sitting on your ass.

I remember in high school when I weighed 155. I also remember my low in high school dropped down to 125. People get pissy at me because I'm a stick. I didn't lift a weight. I just cut out all junk food. And by all, I mean ALL.

Someone suggested running. Always a good way to get your heartrate up. If weight training for your sport strikes your interest, go ahead. If hitting a cardio machine strikes your interest, go ahead. There's really nothing beyond eating right and exercising that you can do.

Ultimately, you gotta love the body you have. : D
