Hi
I'm 15 years old and i've had my period for a little bit over a year now. I have always used pads, but i'd really like to start using tampons. But there's only one problem, im so scared of them. I've tried using the before, but im just scared to leave something up there...please help me. Are there small tiny tampons for teens to use? im sooo freaked out.

I totally know what your saying! Uggh! I never wanted to leave anything up there either. I always thought that they could get lost or something. Then, I found out that nothing can get lost in your vagina. There is only one way out! That helped alot. Also, I found out that it doesn't hurt and if it does, you don't have it positioned right and you should move it around until it feels okay. There are special tampons for teens to use. Just go into a pharmacy and ask a female pharmacist, she'll direct you in the right area. Don't be scared! Nothing can happen by leaving tampons up there (especially if you change them every few hours)
