howdy chemistry lovers...i have a willy ding dong question for ya'll..it's an easy 5 and i'd be eternally grateful if ya'll gave me the correct answer :)
In Noble Gases there is little tendency to form covalent bonds. If the gases are at high pressure and low temperature they will condense to liquids. Which substance would have the strongest attractive forces between noble gas atoms?
*Considering:
He- boiling point of -269.0°C
Ne-boiling point of -246.0°C
Ar-boiling point of -185.9°C
Kr-boiling point of -152.9°C
Xe-boiling point of -107.1°C
Rn-boiling point of -67.0°C
Thank ya'lls so incredibly much and I gladly appriciate your intelligent answer!! MUAH MUAH MUAH!
which ever one has the highest temperature has the strongest bonds, because you have to move all the molecules faster in order to get them to begin to break apart from one another.
