three good programs for detecting and getting rid of spyware
1. Spybot Search & Destroy - the best in my opinion. can be found at: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
2. Lavasoft's Ad-Aware - just as good as Spybot S&D. does an excellent job of detecting/cleaning. found at: http://www.lavasoft.com/
