my mom says that she gives me lots of priveleges, which i highly disagree with. just today i had a friend over -a girl- -im a guy- and we went to my room and my mom yelled at me and told me that im too old to have girls in my room even if we're just friends -btw im 15-. do you agree with this? if you do then why?! if you dont then how do i tell my mom that i am mature enough to control myself around my friends...sheesh (link)

No one is really right or wrong in this situation. You're mom wants you to be her little boy forever and she doesn't want you messing around with any girls just yet. You are a teen irritated that their mom is over-reacting just because omg *gasp* there was a girl in your room. You should talk to your mom about having more trust in you and allowing you to have girls over and such. If she still gets angry well then all I have to say is as you get older, she'll loosen her wrath. Good luck babe.
