This is a really great question. It shows that you have a great relationship with your friend, and you don't want to lose your friendship with her by going out with this guy. To get over him, you should just occupy yourself with a lot of fun things to do. Go shopping, hang out with friends, play games, go on the internet, go to a movie, take walks around the block, and just keep telling yourself that this guy is off limits to you. Eventually you'll meet a really sweet guy who you'll be able to go out with. I think your an awesome friend for wanting to get over this guy, instead of going out with him.
